Introduction:
Any organization, small or big, stores information and data on paper and files them for future reference. With entry of desktop computers, such information is also written in computer files. All these documents, in paper form or electronic form needs to be handled frequently by many people and also need to be safely preserved for many years.

These documents may contain text, tables, diagrams, pictures, graphs, calculation formulae, drawings etc. depending upon the type of organization. Hundreds and thousands of paper documents supplemented by thousands of electronic documents residing in computer media -in hard discs, CD-ROM etc. constitute a complex mix. Retrieval of document from such a huge stores calls for very systematic storage and retrieval system. We certainly hate to face a situation when we have to search needle in a hay stack.

We foresee the complexity of handling immense volume of documents and have developed a system solution, which instills state of the art technology. We named this “DocMan”.
