Introduction:

Duct balancer is a software to be used for designing and balancing the ducts in a ducting network for correct quantity of fluid flow with optimum pressure drop .

In any duct network there are junction points at which two duct meet. Ducts need to be balanced at these junction points to facilitate correct quantity of fluid flow. Duct balancer calculates pressure drops at different junction points of ducts and help engineers to balance it .The programs calculate total losses like friction loss ,losses due to bends and joints, exit loss and suction loss.
